Permanent Makeup Aftercare Instructions
Permanent Makeup Aftercare Instructions
Proper aftercare is key to achieving the best possible healed results from your permanent makeup. All guests receive an aftercare bag with healing ointment and instructions, but here's a quick guide to keep you on track:
General Aftercare Tips
- Keep the treated area clean and dry for the first few days.
- Apply the provided healing ointment as directed — a thin layer is all you need.
- Do not pick, scratch, or peel any flaking skin. Let it shed naturally.
- Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and swimming during the healing period.
- Avoid heavy sweating and exercise for at least one week.
- Do not apply makeup or skincare products directly on the treated area until fully healed.
Brow Aftercare
- wash brows for the first 7–10 days.
- Do not use Retin-A, Glycolic Acid, or exfoliants near the brow area once healed, as these can fade pigment faster.
Lip Blush Aftercare
- Keep lips moisturized with the provided ointment.
- Avoid spicy, salty, or acidic foods during the first week.
- If prone to cold sores, consult your doctor about antivirals before your appointment.
Eyeliner Aftercare
- Avoid contact lenses for at least 24–48 hours after your procedure.
- Do not use lash serums or lash extensions for two weeks post-procedure.
